Another Liebster Award

LiebsterAward

Jojo of Admiring Azeroth has nominated me for another Liebster Award! Thank you!
I won’t nominate anyone else as I’ve already done it once, check my other post about the Liebster Award.

Here are the questions from Jojo and my answers:

  1. Do you still play your first character? If not, why not and if you do, how much? Are they your main or just an alt…
    • No, I don’t play my first character at the moment. My first character was a warrior. He was my main till the end of Naxxramas in Wrath of the Lich King when I rerolled my balance druid alt to help out my guild. My warrior is level 90 but I haven’t played him a lot after I hit 90. I got enough with my druid and shaman which are my favorite classes, but my warrior is my third favorite class so I might play him more when I got more time.
  2. What’s your opinion of the more monotonous side of WoW? Things like fishing, archaeology, rep grinds etc.
    • I don’t like farming. Doesn’t matter if it’s reputation, mats for something, running the same instance over and over again for a mount or piece of gear. It’s so boring doing the same thing over and over again. I even dislike farm raids. Progress raids and working on a new boss is much more fun. Archaeology and fishing can be ok if I listen to music or talk with some at the same time, or while waiting for battleground queue, looking for raid etc.
  3. Which of the in-game races does the real life you best resemble? (I’m a Dwarf or Pandaren).
    • Haha, I’ve actually never thought of that. Maybe a Pandaren. Because Pandaren love good food, being with their family and friends, and taking naps. Some Pandaren also love adventures. They also seem very friendly and like they don’t take themselves too seriously so they’re always fun to be around and come up with a lot of great jokes. I love good food and being with my family and friends, and I like naps. I want to go on adventures and see the world. And I see myself as friendly, fun to be around and I like to believe that my jokes are funny.
  4. What other games do you play?
    • Diablo III Reaper of Souls! Just got the expansion last week. It’s so much fun!
  5. Are you a gold-maker in-game?
    • Well, maybe a bit. I’ve always enjoyed selling things at the auction house because it makes me so happy to open my mailbox to find loads of gold! I started selling flasks in Wrath of the Lich King and earned a big amount of gold there. Or it was big for me, around 50k in a few weeks, without spending hours at the auction house. After that I started selling glyphs and earned quite a bit there. Now it’s enchanting scrolls which don’t sell so good at the moment but it was good money earlier this expansion.
  6. Would you class yourself as a typical gamer?
    • I’m not sure what a typical gamer is. But I would call myself a gamer because I play games and I’ve played games for many years. I think I’ll be a gamer for my whole life.
  7. I play on a laptop which is slowly dying from all the WoW-time. What do you play on?
    • I’m also playing on a laptop. Asus G74SX, two years old, runs games very good actually. I had to buy a laptop if I wanted to continue to raid because I moved around a lot. I know laptops don’t lasts as long as real computers. It acts weird sometimes, freezes and crashes, so I might send it in for repair. I want to buy a real computer before Warlords of Draenor.
  8. What’s the best thing that’s happened to you as a result of blogging?
  9. If all the WoW servers were merged, so EU and US could play together etc, would that affect the game for you? What would you do in celebration? Or could you not give two *beeps*.
    • I would be very happy if I could play with friends from blogs and Twitter who play on US!
  10. We all have at-least one fun fact about us, what’s yours?
    • I think my most fun fact which not everyone knows, but which I already mentioned in my other post about the Liebster Award is that I’m half Filipino. My father was from the Philippines. Many of my relatives from the Philippines live in Australia. I was born and raised in Norway and I’ve never been to the Philippines or Australia, but I would like to go some day.
  11. If you could add a new profession to WoW what would it be? Primary or Secondary?
    • I’m not sure if it can be called a profession. But I’ve always thought I could be fun to be able make more out of our pets, like breeding. Imagine that you can mix some of your favorite pets and create new mixed breeds with new looks and abilities. I’m not sure how it would work out. I wouldn’t want all pets to be able to breed with each other, they might have to be the same family like flying, aquatic, beast etc.

    1. I often wonder if subscription numbers fell enough if the EU & US would get merged together. And part of me, as bad as it sounds, wishes that numbers would drop so we’d all be together (assuming they’d merge us).
